Resumen

A nosotros,coeditores de SKRIB:estudioscríticos sobre programas de escritura y pedagogía, y elconsejo editorial, noscomplace brindar un espacio para académicos y profesionales de la escritura internacionales y multilingües. Tal como habíamos escrito al fundar la revista, nuestra esperanza para SKRIB es facilitar el "diálogo intercultural en torno al desarrollo de programas de escritura, centros de escritura y pedagogía de la escritura en instituciones postsecundarias de educación superior en el mundo entero". Como foro para el discurso inter-cultural, SKRIB llama la atención sobre las formas en que la escritura en el foco de nuestro trabajo no es neutral, sino más bien profundamente personal, y reside en un espacio inherentemente politizado. Nuestro trabajo siempreestá necesariamenteatrapado en pro-cesos de globalización y disputas globales de poderentre Estados nacionales, ideologías, culturas, comunidades e idiomas. SKRIB invita a los académicos a centrar esta concepción de la escritura como inherentemente política en las formas en que reflexionan críticamente sobre sus programas, pedagogías e iniciativas de escritura y, especialmente, en cómo contribuyen al desarrollo de los estudios de escritura; la descolonización, la equidad, la inclusión y la diversidad son responsabilidades fundamentales de los profesores, académicos y adminis-tradores de escritura.
